Jaguars are predominantly found in Rain Forests and dense forests of North & South America. They can be found in countries like Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Columbia, Dcuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Paragua, Peru, USA, Venezuela etc. It was also present in El Salvador and Uruguay but is extinct now. Jaguars are found in good numbers in areas that are abundant in water supply like rivers and lakes. They prefer river banks and other water holes which may be frequented by its preferred prey species.

A jaguar has a smooth coat that is usually orange or tanish brown, with black spots called "rosettes". Jaguars have big paws to pull fish out of the water which they eat.
Jaguars are black, or skin color with black spots.
They are pink with zebra stripes on it. It also has wings, so it can fly. This is why you should never get your answers from this site because anybody can write on this. Some people (if they didn't have a clue about their question) could believe anything somebody says. Then, they would have the wrong answer. And, if it was for school they would get a bad grade.

Its habitat is the rain forest in Central America, southern America, and Mexico in the rainforests. It used to be in the southern U.S. too, but it's totally extinct in that region now.
