you should no this answer so other people can find out!!Fresh sea water and a plentiful supply of algae.... they are also territorial creatures so if keeping them have enough room so they don't fight because they do, in fact they are one of the few mollusca that do actually fight over food etc. They also need to be kept out of direct sunlight and the habitat needs to be kept cool as they perish if the become dried out/overheated.
