That would be code P0304 which translates into cylinder #4 misfire. there are a few things that could cause this code. the sparkplug could be worn, there could be a mechanical issue such as a worn, bent or broken intake or exhaust valve in that cylinder or it could also be an engine management system problem such as a bad crankshaft sensor.
2008 malibu 3.6 L code says PO302 misfiring Misfiring in number 2 cylinder. Could be an ignition problem with a bad spark plug or spark plug wire. Could also be a bad fuel injector. Could also be a mechanical problem such as a bad valve. Start with new plugs and wires.

it could be bad spark plugs, corroded, worn, old, dirty, or could be the spark plugs wires, old, damaged, loose, or in the last case bad coil packs or bad ecm, you can diagnose it with a scanner OBD2 and get the code, to research for especific misfiring code related to your problem to pimpoint exactly the cause of the misfire. ha ha ha reddragon

It is a misfire detection on cylinder number 4. It just means that for somereason cylinder number 4 is misfiring. Could be a loose\bad spark plug or wire. The coil could also be bad. Hope this helps.
Code 300 means that multiple or random cylinders have/are misfiring. Have you noticed the car sputtering or hesitating on acceleration? Check the spark plugs and wires.
