Modulates pressure that controls shift points.
yes but you would have to replace drive shafts. The 4x4 shaft is shorter due to the transfer case.
I have a `00 blazer and recently my car started making a loud winding noise also. Come to find out I had to have a whole new transmission due to that noise! The repair shop said that the noise is the first sign of the transmission going out!
Most modulator valves are on the rear of the transmission. It should not be that hard to find due to the fact that it has a vacuum line attached to it. It controls the transmission shifting off engine vacuum. Also if it is bad it will pull transfluid out of the transmission and burn it off thur. the engine, this is noted with white smoke from the tail pipe.
no a v-8 will not adapt to a 2.8 transmission...due to a metric size... but a 4.3 transmission will bolt up to any chevy v-8
The 2001 Chevy Blazer does have an ignition security system that is controlled by the computer in the vehicle. The light might come on because of an error that is coming up in the computer due to a key problem or an ignition problem. This is a common issue with the 2000 and 2001 Blazer.
Buy a can of lock unfreeze or wd-40
A 4WD on a 2001 Chevy S10 Blazer does not work properly after changing its actuator and speed sensor probably due to shorted wires. Also check for loose wiring.Ê
Check coolant in radiator could be getting mixed with transmission fluid due to a bad radiator cooling chamber Check the modulator could be getting burned as fuel Check for leak
Is the water clear in color or is it green in color
NO YOU CAN NOT. IF the 95 is a 1/2 Ton then it MUST have the 4L60E transmission put back in it. If it is a 3/4 ton then it MUST have the 4L80E put in it. This is due to the computer system that's in the truck.
Alot of newer cars have a red cap on top of the transmission and you have to pull the speedometer on the transmission ( not a due it yourself check if you have a cap on top of your transmission refer to a repair shop or local oil change store.
Timing is off or fuel & air mixture is way off and it's most likely full. (due to be changed)
