According to the ( 1996 ) Ford Bronco Owner Guide :
Axle code ( 19 ) is a Ford conventional ( non Ford Traction Lok / limited slip )
axle with a 3.55 ratio
Open the drivers door and look for an information sticker on the end of the door ( or maybe on the pillar ) Look for the " axle code " Then resubmit your question with the axle code
there should be an axle code or the door jam. Then you can call your local ford dealer and the can tell you, but some of the owner manuals had a list of the axle codes in them.
On a 2003 Ford Explorer : Open the drivers door and there is an information sticker on the latch pillar You will find the axle code under " axle " Once you have the axle code you can determine the axle ratio
According to the 1996 Ford Ranger owners manual : Axle code 82 is a ( 3.08 conventional ) ( not a traction-lok )
On a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria : Axle code X5 is a ( 3.27 ratio , limited slip )
CG is 3.31
I believe the axle code is listed on a sticker on the end of the drivers door The axle code will correspond to an axle ratio Once a person knows the axle code , the ratio can be looked up
I believe axle code 19 is for a Ford conventional axle ( non limited slip ) with a 3.55 ratio
3.31 ratio
4.10 limited slip
I am not positive about this but, I believe that this indicates that the axle has a 3.00:1 gear ratio. Check with you local Ford dealer for a definitive answer.
Ford axle code B6 is a ( Ford limited slip / traction - lok differential with a 3.73 ratio )
