its burning oil :(
If its black smoke you are burning oil possibly due to oil getting in your exhaust by tilting the lawnmower on its side or your rings are allowing oil by.
Oil burning
If your lawn mower is pulsating, it may mean that it is not getting enough fuel and the carburetor may need cleaning.
Many times it just means that the mower has been leaned over on it's side too far and oil has gotten into the breather. It will burn this off after a while. If it persists then you have an internal problem in the engine and are getting alot of blowby into the breather.
If you mean a mixed gas and oil, it may not hurt the mower, it may smoke until this mix is used up. Some mower tanks are easily removed and you can drain the mixture before you use it.
it needs gas
your fuel mixture is too rich it may be time to change your spark plug and/or air filter. a bad spark plug will not burn all the fuel correctly and a clogged air filter will not provide enough air for a good air/fuel mixture. Actually it depends on what color smoke is coming from it. Black smoke is fuel, however, blue smoke is oil, broken ring and such
It could be that the mower was tilted on its side or that the rings are bad.
you mean a lawn mower right.. if so no
it mean either that u put to much oil in and its leaking out into the case and burning off the extra or it means you have let it set for to long. and i have seen on some old mowers after it rains sometimes they smoke but only for a few sec
If you mean the rotary mower, that would be Lawn-Boy in the early 1950's. Then owned by OMC who was looking for another use for their engines. The original was a single cylinder outboard motor converted to air cooling.
The word "muffle" means to wrap or cover something to reduce noise or to make it quieter. It can also refer to smothering or dampening a sound or voice.
