The Drum is bad and needs to be fixed asap. Seriously. I lost my brakes because of that and almost t-boned another car. Get it fixed. Forget the cost. The brake cylinder could be leaking more than likely.
You need to find out what's leaking and replace it before you have an accident.
Either a brake line/flexi line has blown, a union has failed or a wheel cylinder is leaking. Do not drive the vehicle until it is repaired, diagonally opposite brakes are inoperative.
If a Mazda MPV is leaking yellow fluid then it is possible that the fluid is brake fluid. It is best to take the car to a mechanic right away.
Top right corner
this would be brake fluid have it checked before the brakes fail and you wreck
Failed caliper, wheel cylinder, hose, line, Vehicle is unsafe to drive.
If it is only on the outside of the backing plate, it will be the brake line. If it is on the insede it will be the wheel cylinder needing replaced.
Could be brake or clutch fluid
It is important to use the right type of fluid in a car. The Brake fluid for this car is DOT 3 brake fluid.
Blinker fluid? Do you mean brake fluid? If you're leaking brake fluid somewhere I suggest you get it repaired right away. Leaking brake fluid could indicate a serious problem. Remember, brakes are nothing to play with. Your life depends on them.Either that or this person has been to the same shop's I have, where I was once informed how my confibulator had stopped confibulating, before it was suggested to me that I let them install a new one right away.answeri bet u use a left handed screwdriver to open the cap on the blinker fluid, tried to buy a can of striped paint and asked for a bucket of steam to clean ya carpets ============= I once had a garage tell me my pickup needed a new rear sprocket. I told them they were stupid.(it was an inspection station fer cryin out loud!)
Most likely causes are a rusted metal brake line, cut or hole in rubber brake hose or possibly you have a wheel cylinder leaking. No matter the cause its very important to get it fixed because its likely that at some point your brakes will go out completely.
It should be located directly beside the brake booster with the brake master cylinder. It is smaller and round in shape. It will be closer to the driver side fender. If it is low in fluid I would add fluid (dot 3 brake fluid) and then check the slave cylinder mounted on the right hand side of the transmission and see if it is leaking any fluid around the rubber boot that covers the piston that moves back and forth. If it is leaking replace the slave. To bleed it there is a bleeder screw on the slave, and you will need to refill the clutch master several times will someone pushes the pedal until clean fluid comes out.Normally the clutch fluid is never low unless the slave is leaking in most cases.
