COL AIR HAS FALLS.. is the answer to what is true about cold air.. i dont understand it either but its the answer on A +LS
I'm taking A + LS too, do many people use this? It's a great learning system cuz it doesn't really bore you with useless details. Anyways my answer was "all of these" that included falls, has little weight, has low pressure, and is not dense.
Ye i am taking A+ too. pretty easy stuff when you got Wiki answeres to look at ;P
Cold air increases air pressure
cold air is heavier than the warm air warm air has low water so it is hot and low heavy but cold air has a lot of water so it cold and heavy
Cold air is compact air Hot air is less dense than cold air Ergo, hot air rises ; cold air sinks
the cold air pushes the warm air up and forms cumulus clouds
Cold Air
The cold air will sink.
There is really nothing interesting about cold fronts. Cold air is overtaking warm air. Since cold air is denser than warm air, cold air goes under a warm air mass.
The cold air is denser, so cold air usually sinks down, and warmer air will float to the top.
Cold air increases air pressure
Warm air is less dense (lighter) than cold air..that is why warm air rises and cold air settles
TEMPERATURE Cold air is denser
cold air !
