Keep a very close eye on him - bleach is caustic so you may see chemical burns around and in the mouth and on the tongue. If your dog is showing any sign of pain, get him to a veterinarian immediately - if he vomits the bleach back up he will just cause more damage. The vet may also need to give you special food for him to help him continue eating while his esophagus and stomach heal back up.

They would become deathly sick due to the powerful chemicals inside bleach. It's corrosive qualities could burn their internal organs and blood vessels, causing digestive tract interruptions, kidney failure, etc.

This will depend on the concentration of the bleach. If the bleach was not diluted, I would be surprised the dog drank it at all - it would cause severe chemical burns to the mouth, throat and stomach. Bleach that is diluted per the instructions on the bottle (usually one cap-full in one gallon of water) probably wouldn't cause chemical burns but could give the dog some nausea and stomach upset. More dilute than this, such as a very mild residue after cleaning the water bucket, is probably safe.

It certainly is possible for a dog, or any other life form, to die from eating bleach. Bleach contains strong amounts of ammonia, which is poisonous to most life forms. If a dog drinks or eats bleach, call the vet, or take it to the nearest vet right away.

Bleach can be very harmful to a dog. It can severely burn the dog's skin, especially in sensitive areas such as the paws, legs, belly, and face. If it is ingested, the dog should be taken to a vet immediately because bleach is highly toxic.

No. Bleach is corrosive and will harm your dog.

Unless the bleach was VERY VERY weak, you should take your dog to a Vet as soon as possible - like rite now!!

It is very likely. It should be taken to a veterinarian IMMEDIATELY. Even if it lives it may have permanent throat and stomach damage.
