What does every teenage girl want?

Teen girls want love. Most of them don't get it from their parents so they go out & find it in any other way. Usually from a boyfriend (of girlfriend is lesbian/bisexual) & sometimes it leads to sex, which may cause pregnancy, then the guy might leave, & she'll look for love all over again. They want someone to care for them when they need it most. They wanna feel good about themselves so they wear all this makeup to feel pretty, which is unnessecary. Teenage girls need someone to give them advice & support & guide them through life. Those who don't have that just do what they want. Sex, drugs, etc. Some parents don't pay attention to their teenage daughter, so they don't know their life or what goes on in it. They want attention. They want boyfriends. They want touch screen phones. They want money. They want iPods. They want cute clothes. I would know, I am a teenage girl. (13 years old, to be specific.) So if you're a parent of a teenage girl reading this, please don't give them a hard time. Give them a pat on the back & teach them right from wrong. Don't hit them. It'll make them hate you. Let them know they can tell you anything, cause most of them feel awkward telling at least one parent anything.

I am fifteen this January, so I'll answer this question!

Try asking the teenager in question. You'll probably get a straight up answer.

If its not that easy, go with what would make sense. What do you think of your teenage gift reciepient doing? Do they do a sport? Give them a gift card to a LOCAL store (no use giving something that makes them go two hours away!). Do they love their phone? Upgrade their plan. More personally, you can make them a skin or case for it. Google making a personal phone skin or case and ta-da!

Or maybe this teenager just wants one present but it's really expensive. Find the teenager's friends and family. See if you can all contribute to donate money to give to the kid to help them save for the goal. If the teen's parents are going to get the present for them, work on accessorizing it. Say the kid wants an iPod. The kid's parents could buy the iPod, and then others could give headphones, a case, a docking station/stereo, etc. If the teen already has these things don't worry-- extra headphones are nice to have, or they might like the newer (and probably better) ones. Or they can sell the old dock on eBay and make extra money while enjoying the new one, or can pass the old one on to a gift giving service or to a sibling.

Make up or a shopping spree is also a dream. Who doesn't want to hear the words "you have 2 minutes to grab as much as you can and its on me!"? Well that can be pricey, but you can do a version. Go to bath and body works and fill a basket (a handbag or shower caddy works too, anything really) and load up on lotion, shampoo, shower gel, loofas, lip balms, anything goes from B&BW. Or just take the time out to go to some big shopping center that you normally wouldn't go to.

Relax... its one thing everybody can do. Teenagers especially! A comfy chair (like a Papasan chair), some of their favorite candy, bubble bath supplies and or a new fuzzy fluffy bathrobe will totally make them happy. Once I got slippers and a bag of Oreos. Sounds kind of weird, but I actually enjoyed it. I got to sit back and nibble while watching a movie by myself... me time is just as important as hanging out with friends.
