Eye safety means the care and protection of the eye or eyes. Such protection can include regular eye sight test to determine degeneration due work practices i.e. reading computer screen for long periods, the wearing of eye protection to prevent damage to the eye or any part of the eye in connection with a role where extremes of light, foreign bodies such as metal specs, wood or dust may come in to contact with the eye and of course medical issues such as glaucoma which may effect the overall health of the eye
