Fair trade doesn't do anything to the chocalate its just the ingredients that are fair trade. Because we can't grow cocoa in brittain we have to get cocoa from places that can grow it. So we trade the farmers a fair ammount of something in return for the things we need to make foods or clothes or other things.
because they have to grow them in there country they can get very ill
so that people who grow certain foods get the right amount of money they should.
fairtrade exists so that farmers that grow the food can get a good amount of money for it.
u will find the fair trade simble and thats haw u can tell if its fair trade and if is no fair trade simble its not fair trade
From really poor 3rd world countries, who don't have money to buy food or have clean water. Fair trade means we give them a good price for the food we grow so they can get better money for the things they trade with us.
Fair trade is something for our 3rd world. When you buy something like fair trade chocolate the poor people who make the cocoa beans are guaranteed the same good money every time. So the poor people never go too hungry if the price of cocoa beans dropped because they will be payed the same. Generally world trade is just the world trading. Like we cannot grow grapes so France would grow them and we will trade with France and other countrys for other objects for something that we grow or our money.
because the extra money (that is added to the price when the product is made fair trade) goes to the people in poor countries like (Africa and Kenya) who grow and harvest some of the ingredients
