3-Stimulates ovaries to produce oestrogen.

1-secreted by ovaries.
2-Inhibits (slows down) FSH production.
3-Stimulates pituitary gland to produce LH.
4-Stimulates uterus lining to build up, ready to support a developing baby.
LH-Luteinizing Hormone
1-Stimulates ovaries to release eggs.
FSH, secreted by the Pituitary gland,stimulates the secretion of Oestrogen from the ovaries, Oestrogen in turn stimulates the secretion of LH by the pituitary and inhibits the secretion of FSH, LH then stimulates ovulation (the release of an egg). Without FSH this chain reaction does not happen.

Oestrogen & Progesterone are produced by the Ovaries. Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) & Lutenizing Hormone (LH) are produced by the pituitary gland at the base of the brain. FSH and LH control and stimulate the unripe eggs inthe ovaries to ripen and be released. Oestrogen & progesterone stimulate the formation of the endometrium lining in the womb, and by reducing in levels ultimatly casue the breakdown of the lining, and the ensuing period know as menstruation in human females

LH ( luteinising hormone) is stimulated by oestrogen and secreted by the pituitary gland. As oestrogen levels rise it will inhibit the production of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and will encourage the production of LH. As LH rises to a peak in the middle of the menstrual cycle, they will stimulate the release of a mature egg.
Estrogen induces a biphasic feedback on the gonadotropin releasing. In the first phase (it is discussed whether the phases are separated by time or by estrogen levels) it induces an negative feedback on both FSH and LH. The inhibition of FSH is more evident in this case. In the second phase the feedback is positive. In contrary the positive feedback is much more evident in the LH level.
