How the implantation bleeding look like?
I am waiting to go to the doctor to confirm how far along I am. I know I'm pregnant but I did a test over a month ago and it was negative, plus I had what seemed like a period but apparently I am at least 6 weeks. I believe that you can get pregnant and still have an actual period for 1 or 2 months. I have not gotten a period since. so my advice is to wait, and take tests. sometimes tests won't show a positive for about 5 weeks.

It all depends on where in your cycle you were when you had sex and started bleeding. The bleeding could just be from the sex itself, you may have gotten a scratch or tear inside that is bleeding, you could be starting your period early or you could be experiencing implantation bleeding. If it is implantation bleeding it may be bright pink or dark brown and only enough to be considered 'spotting' and not a period. If it is heavy bleeding it is not implantation bleeding. A woman in Canada just gave birth and didn't even know she was pregnant because she had a regular period every month, had no pregnancy symptoms and because she is a larger woman, could not see her stomach grow. Therefore, YES you CAN get pregnant and still have a period.

Implantation bleeding and period while pregnant Has anyone been through this and not known that they were pregnant?
Yes, I talked to a young woman who had been through this. She got her period just like normal and so did not know that she was pregnant until she was eight months pregnant. Also, her stomache didn´t really look any bigger. She gained 7 lbs and it was the baby, she didn´t gain any extra weight. I have also seen online that other women have gotten their periods while pregnant, but they did not say whether or not they knew that they were pregnant.

This could be a mixture of semen and blood, if you recently had sex without a condom. answer could be Implantation bleeding which you get 11 days or more after period or something
