MCS-150 is the form used to register a DOT number. If the DOT number has become invalidated somehow, then the MCS-150 form can't be updated. I would contact the FMCSA and see what's going on, because if your DOT number was somehow invalidated, it would stand to reason you'd have lost your ICC/MC authority, as well, and it just seems a bit odd that you wouldn't have known this until the time for your MCS-150 update came.

Then again, it's possible that you just entered the wrong DOT number when you tried doing the MCS-150 update.
