this is normal as long there is no one in the passanger seat
There is no passenger side airbag shut off switch in a 1998 Voyager.
on mine (MK2) there is a place to put your key in the passenger side door which turns the airbag on and off
No
open passenger side fusebox, locate and disconnect yellow plastic fuse harness as well as airbag fuse
No. The Magnum has a sensor in the passenger seat that detects if there is sufficient weight to turn the airbag on. With the vehicle running, sit in the driver's seat reach over and push down on the passenger seat. You will notice the "Passenger Airbag OFF" light right above the stereo going off and on.
yes, press off
Yes it does have a passenger side airbag and there is no on/off switch. 99 is the first year they came with an on/off switch. You can buy a switch here -http://www.airbagonoff.com
Set off the airbag. Why would you want to do this?
No. There is no switch or key lock feature to manually turn off the passenger side airbag. If there is no one in the seat it will automatically turn off.The seat has a sensor that senses when someone is sitting in the seat.
The passenger airbag can be switched on and off with your key. The switch (looks like a lock) is located on side of the dash on the passengerside and can be operated with the door open only. While switched off, the indicator on the dash will light up to indicate that the passenger's airbag is disabled. According to the manual, unless the airbag is switched off, both airbags will deploy in case of an accident, even if the passenger seat is not in use. Check your manual for proper instructions!
The on/off switch, located on the lower side of the dash, below the radio, is for the passenger side only.
The passenger airbag weight system needs to be recalibrated.
