If you are talking about a discharge of a small amount of blood, in most cases this is nothing to be alarmed about. Spotting between periods can happen after sex because the activity can loosen some of the blood in your uterus. Again, if it is a small amount of blood, don't worry about it. However, if the bleeding continues for days, or the discharge is more than blood and develops a bad odor, you should see your doctor.
