I think you have a very good friend on your hands. A friend that is there through thick and thin. You are lucky to have such a friend. Often love interests happen later because the couple were friends before they became lovers, so take it slow, don't put pressure on him and it may turn out. Right now he knows you are emotional about personal feelings and he's such a nice guy he doesn't want to take advantage of you. Just enjoy what you have together for now. Marcy
