What does it mean if you're alone in a room but you feel like your not actually alone?

There is probably a low frequency in the room that you can't hear but your brain picks it up subconsciously. But generally it's because our culture believes in the possibility of ghosts and spirits so that a placebo affect takes place making you "feel" something.
