If you think about it more symbolically maybe it represents that you are having a lot of struggles or problems in your life but you are getting through and dealing with them all. when a problem comes at you, you quickly solve it or stop it. you keep yourself happy, healthy and stressfree...most the time. or you will be doing this in the future. I think it's because... when you think before you sleep, even if you don't remember what you're thinking of at that time, you're mind keeps thinking even when you're asleep ('cause otherwise, you'd be dead)... SO, even if you aren't really controling the thoughts, your mind just kept linking random thoughts until one of the thoughts really struck you (do you have a fear or liking to snakes?), so your mind took a liking to think about it. (And, by linking, I mean, say you're thinking of bubble gum... then you think of a starfish 'cause it's pink like gum, then you think of sharks 'cause they're in water like starfish, and so on...) That's my best guess... I doubt that'll happen to you in real life, but you never know... I've had many dreams of places I've never been and then days or months or years later I see a similar scene. So who knows? Just don't start bothering yourself about it, 'cause then you'll be thinkin' 24/7 about it and you'll get more dreams 'cause you think more intensly about it (don't start thinkin' it's a sign, 'cause it's not). And, avoid snakes anyways... I mean, I bet you'd be smart enough not to go up and pet one randomly...
