No. If you are bleeding, it is normal. Your body is adjusting to the new hormones being dispensed and your body is secreting old cells. Just like a period, your body will cleanse itself and you will experience such like symptoms. If you are worried and want to discuss it with your doctor, you should do so.

Bleeding on Depo Provera is not a sign that it's not effective.
If you mean, trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole, then the answer is NO.
If you induce vaginal bleeding after having Depo-related amenorrhea, you bleed from your vagina. It does not "jump start" your normal period, it doesn't mean you ovulated, and it doesn't get Depo out of your system faster.
If someone "bleeds out" or has "bled out" it means they died because they lost a great amount of blood due to a wound not being closed (or able to be closed).
I don't believe so. I got one shot of the depo and bled for 9 weeks straight. The whole time I bled it was brown not a red color. It wasn't a constant bleed around the same time everyday only lasting for about 4 hours. If you have any questions about it I may beable to help. quiet_one212@yahoo.com brown discharge is not a sign that the shot is wearing off I've been on depo since i was 16 I'm now 24 years old and i don't get my period but usually at the ending of 3 months when i am due for my shot i usually will get spotting and usually have brown spotting along with it as well its just a sign that some times your period is trying to come back but usually if you get you next shot it goes away
There is no particular meaning to spotting two weeks after stopping Depo Provera. After stopping Depo, some women will have periods return right away. For others, it can take 18 months. The average is 11 months.
Ovulating while on the Depo-Provera shot is uncommon but can happen. It may reduce the effectiveness of the birth control in preventing pregnancy. If you suspect you have ovulated while on Depo-Provera, it's important to use a backup method of contraception and consult with your healthcare provider.
