What does it mean to dream that your boyfriend is breaking up with you?

It probably means subconsciencly, that you two might be having problems or your afraid to lose him for any reason. Just relax and talk to him about how he really feels about you. But dont bug him about it just talk. Im sure that will ease your mind a little.

Sometimes what the subconscious mind does in a dream is translate what is not actually said, but perceived in the way one says it. For example, a female friend of mine was chatting to my best friend at my b-day and my best friend tells me later that he likes her. The next day the female friend tells me she had a dream - in her dream my best friend told her he liked her and now they're boyfriend and girlfriend. Works for me doesn't it? This happened to me and this is what i thought:

Then you know what i went and did? I went and told him to meet me somewhere, and I broke up with him. Once i got home, i couldn't stop thinking about him. I'd thought it was a sign that we weren't supposed to be together but sometimes that's not always the case. So just don't follow your dreams, follow you heart. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's true.

I will be honest, I am not a therapist so I can't give you a definite answer. But, I can say I think that there are a few possibilites. The best ones I can say are that you may feel quite insecure in the relationship. Maybe you feel that you need a small amount of time away from each other. Even if it is just a day. However, a lot of dreams are based around happenings throughout the day, so maybe you watched something on Television that made you consider it in your dreams. For example, if you saw a couple in the street walking down together, or you had spoken to your boyfriend that day, and then maybe later on something broke, you could put those together in your dream.
