Investing means purchasing an item with the hope that in the future it will lead to greater monetary rewards. With regards to advertising, this means that companies buy an advertising campaign with the hope that this will inspire consumers to purchase it and thus lead to future profit. Advertising campaigns can cost large amounts - the Guinness campaign in 2007 cost å£10m - but firms expect that such campaigns will have high gains.

How can you make a company to grow?

You should get customers, and get more customers by advertising. Set up a budget and divert some money for advertising. Let's say 20% (This is only an example). Than, you use that money to pay your employees and expand your products and put more money in advertising, and set some aside for yourself. Repeat this and you will grow quite rapidly if done right.

How does Nike's website help the company strengthen its relationships with its stakeholders?

I assume you mean shareholders. Nike's website is not exclusively there to strengthen bonds with their shareholders. It is an advertising tool, to get people to buy their products. Since shareholders are already invested, they do not market the site to the shareholders. This is not to say that a shareholder cannot access the website and gain a better sense of security by looking at the way Nike deals with its advertising, etc. Its just not specifically there for that purpose. Nike elicits different methods for shareholders.

How much money is spent on film making each year?

With 'blockbuster' films budgeted at several hundred million each and many exceeding these budgets, it may be safe to say that hundreds of millions in US dollars are invested in films annually, all of which expect a rate of return. A low-budget film is usually one to five million. Movies are also made in every country on Earth, so their investments are in addition to what is invested in USA.
