It means your Guinea Pig is potty trained or he trained himself to use toilet. It is a good sign.
i had a rat it died and know i have a guinea pig i like the guinea pig better but bellow are facts about them. Rats: lives up to 3 yrs, small, messy, tail is discusting, can make sooo much noise, cost about $10. Guinea pigs: Lives up to 12 yrs, medium size, cleaner that rats only poops in one spot, no tail, makes some noise but not alot, and the cost $30
I can't say it is GOOD, but it is OK. If your piggy poops alot, don't worry! Because it just naturally happens at some point. You can't force a guinea pig to hold in it's poop, right? So clean your guinea pigs cage weekly. But spot clean the part that your guinea pigs poops/pees in daily. Because you might be surprised how messy it can get in just 12 hours! So, clean your guinea pig's cage, 'cause it might smell. Hope this helped!
they have a itchy spot
this can mean several different things, they could be playing or fighting over a good napping spot and territory.
Doesn't mean much either way. The only thing having a beauty spot tells you is that you have a beauty spot on the ear.
animals usually dont spot before giving birth they might during and after, if your worried ask a vet.
if a guinea pig or any other animal has ring worm, it will have a bald spot and it will be red, itchy and will make your guinea pig really sick, so if your guinea pig has ring worm take it to the vet NOW! thanks savannah/ guinea pig and rabbit expert The bald spot will be around the back of both ears and around their eyes
They get the guinea pig in a small spot and bend down and catch it but it's hard there pretty fast by Devynn Gruender
This is called the grease gland, and it is only found in male guinea pigs. It is a scent gland, and it is perfectly normal for it to be oily under the fur in this spot. The grease gland should be left alone unless it becomes clogged and infected. This doesn't happen often, but if you suspect a problem, take your piggy to an exotics-specialized vet.
guinea pigs are prone to eye problems, so if there is a cloudy blueish-grey spot in there eye, they are simply going blind in that eye. It might spread to the other eye, or it might just be in that one eye. If it is only a spot, and there is no discharge, they need no medical attention. You might want to take them in if the eye starts bleeding, or if if any discharge occurs.
around the ears are the most common places for guinea pigs to shed dont worry
Only you would know :-)!
