- It means he is unsure of the direction of his life (present and future) and is giving it close consideration.
- If it involves a possible relationship between the two of you then perhaps he doesn't know whether to go in for it or not because of somthing that happened between you two in the past. A once bitten twice shy scenario perhaps? Maybe you did somthing that is making him question if getting together is a good idea, if so try and work out what it is and correct the issue.
