Hopefully you are both about the same age? If he is considerable older, don't be alone with him and tell an adult. He is either shy or insecure and doesn't want people to know he likes you, or he is trying to get in your pants. For most guys until a certain age, that is their main focus. He can be nice, say he loves you, or anything else, but that is his main goal. I'm a man, I know.
