This man is not confident in himself. Part of him wants to be independent, yet he enjoys the sense of safety he feels with you and he may still even love you. He sounds confused. One minute he is letting you know he's been a very good boy by telling you when he comes home, when he goes to bed and gets up, yet part of him is angry and he wants you to know he's out dating with girls. He's trying to act confident, but he isn't. Communication is a wonderful thing and solves most problems, so meet with him and ask him why he is doing this. If he can't answer you then tell him exactly how YOU feel. If you feel like moving on without him then tell him the truth.
