Having a narcissistic ex who does not contact you, but wishes to be on good terms, sounds like the perfect situation. If you want to visit him on a friendly basis, call him up for an outing. But don't look for this person to have better friendship skills than he had while you were involved; this could be a one-sided relationship and what you see is what you get. You just took a good opportunity and twisted it so you would lose! First off they are narcissist, secondly they are you "ex" and "ex" means you are no more! Leave it as such. A narcissist will not make a good friend if they couldn't be a good mate for you. They are users and shakers, so I'd take this opportunity to dump this person! You are nothing more than old NS IF and WHEN he needs you; when his new supply dwindles. Ignore him and get out. It means live your life and you are friends if your in need.

Exactly as stated above! Also, they ignore you for attention. They would rather you lose all self respect, beg them for forgiveness, cry, scream and hollar for them to understand how badly they hurt you, so they can ignore you all over again. Obviously you expired in their book. They are now on the prowl for another victim or they are working on or have obtained control over another source.

Thier friends may start to talk to you just to wind her up & if she hardly talks to you it doesnt mean she doesnt like you it means she likes you even more. As long as you realise she likes you and take it slowly it should be fine & don't jump to conclusions that she does or doesnt like you because of what i just said, it is just advice.
