I think she is having the problem because she picks men SHE can control and therefore rejects the men because she is angry she has to treat them like their mother. If she truly was independent then she should pick men that are also independent, but she's afraid. She likes to control the situation. Obviously, for reasons of your own you didn't hang around to let her control you and it appears her other exes did the same thing. Marcy Sounds as though shes fed up with weak men and she maybe just realised that and wants a strong man.
