Obviously she knows you're hitting on her and it seems she probably feels the same way. Asking about your wife and her way of trying to figure out just how you must feel about your wife since you ARE hitting on her also. She is looking to see if you two are going to get divorced to make room for her. She is also figuring out whether or not you would feel bad for "cheating" on your wife with her, because if you would cheat on your wife, you would cheat on her if you two ever hooked up, and nobody wants any of those things to happen... except for the person doing the cheating.
