There are a few causes here. First of all check you have enough coolant, if it has run out there will be no heat transfer from coolant to heater radiator. This is dangerous to the engine.
If it has coolant, then try back flushing the cooling system, especially the heater matrix to remove any foreign object that could be causing a blockage.
When refilling, fit the antifreeze first then start the engine. Make sure you have the heater controls facing the windscreen, on hot and fan no faster than position 2. With the engine ticking over, slowly fill the system until it reaches the correct level. Leave the cap off until the thermostat opens. (When hot coolant circulates)
Recheck the level and fit the cap.
Overeheating is usually caused by a bad thermostat, blocked radiator or leaking headgasket.
try the head gasket.
If there is no heat coming out of the vents, but there is air coming out on a 2003 Mercedes Benz E-320, check the thermostat to make sure it is not sticking. If this is okay, check the heater core. If the heater core is bad, there will be water on the passenger side floorboard.
Perhaps a dead mouse.
your blend door which cost about $1000-1500
Front heater core is in the dash, the rear heater core is all the way in the back of the vehicle. If you have steam coming out of the dash vents, the front HC is leaking. If you have steam coming out of the rear heater vents, then the rear core is leaking.
um...I know why no one has answered this yet, cos no one knows what the heck you are talking about!! Try rephrasing it!!!!!
check and replace if needed the heater core that's one reason why no heat
Sorry bad news Your heater core has a leak
So it has something to heat and blow back out, thus, heating your home. The stuff coming out of your vents has to come from somewhere..
you should probably run a duster thorgh it and/or check the pipes to it with it running =there might be an air leak
open bleed valve on top of distribution pump, crank engine till fuel squirts from valve, tighten valve, turn over couple times. Add heat and fire up.
