check your sensor on the right side of the firewall. it is a small round plug looing thing under your blinker fluid. if it is burned out then a nasty nig*er probably put her PU$$Y on it and ruined it
Probably an alternator.
If you mean each time you engage car in any gear forward or reverse & it immediately stalls - you have a bad torque converter. Start engine, put foot on brake, put car in NEUTRAL, if it DOES NOT stall, but it does stall if you repeat this test when you put car in drive or reverse = bad torque converter - It's called a "stall test"
put more in or get a new car
usually means your sitting on a hill..
Check for a major vacuum leak.
I have same problem.
you could put 1 car in each stall.... That would be logical
I put into drive or try reverse and theshifter won't go into gear.
It is a safety feature. You must pull in the left brake lever fully to engage reverse, if you try to put it into reverse without doing so, the engine will kill.
well it depends if your wanting to go backwards then you put the car in reverse . or if your wanting to stop then you put the car on neutral.
the car goes back
More to the QuestionJust a bit more information to my question above. The car was only working on two cylinders or pistons. That has been repaired and the car now works good. When I put the car into drive or reverse I have to keep my foot on the accelerator and on the brake. Once the car has taken of and I get to an intersection its fine there is no problem its just after the car is switched on and the initial take of be it in reverse or in drive that's the problem. Can anyone shed some light on it please?
