Tires might be 'flat spotting', more likely in cold weather. The part of the tire that is on the road when parked flattens out. Low tire air pressure makes this more likely as do very old tires (not worn out). If this is the case the flat spots go away after driving a while (when they warm up)
If its a rear wheel drive car (if its got a drive shaft), the u-joints in the drive shaft might be binding and loosen after the warm up a bit. If so, the joints need replaced
This will depend upon the type of car you have, the type of shaking and what is causing the shaking. The solution may be anything from tightening a bolt to stop driving the car because it is dangerous.
When people act out violently while driving, it is called road rage.
car starts but shut off while driving
I don't know you tell me.
It is scared of something, is there an Escalade around? Seriously, shaking while driving could be wheel balancing or front end alignment. Shaking while at idle or what seems to be coming from the engine might be a motor mount.
most likely. 65;
A continuous thumping noise and floor shaking while driving on a 2000 Honda Accord could mean a loose exhaust system. It could also mean a bent frame or a broken spring.
realignment, 60 to 80 bucks
Your car will violently fall to the ground and will drag the frame until it comes to a complete stop.
Tire out of balance is the most likely cause. Can also be a bent wheel.
if the shaking does not seem to be engine related then it could be a couple of things. try rotating your tires and while the car is jacked up try shaking the tires to see if the wobble, if so the bearings may be bad. also check to see if any of your tires have had a radial belt break (there will be a noticeable lump on the tread of the tire
