well it depends on what you mean by "with" If you mean by hanging out with her alone, they could be very good friends or friends since they were kids, so this doesnt mean anything. He could be lying about liking her so pay attention to how he says he doesnt like her. If you mean like talking to her it doesnt mean anything cause its not like guys never ever talk to girls unless they like them.
