Probably low on freon, you may have a leak in the system.
More than likely the a/c compressor is bad. The compressor clutch could be shorted also.
The a/c compressor will cycle back and forth if the system is low on freon or you have electrical problems..........
check the fuse, then the relay and wiring. If the pulley clutch is getting power, then you may need a new clutch or compressor.
Mabe your compressor clutch is no good. A good way to check it is to disconnect the wires that go to compressor then turn your ac on. If it does not burn the fuse it means your compressor clutch is bad.
Something is causing the ac system to use too much current. Check the ac fuse and make sure it is the proper size. Unplug the connector to the ac clutch and see if the problem continues. If unplugging the clutch stops the fuse from blowing then either the clutch is bad or the ac compressor is locked up and will need to be replaced.
the a/c clutch is loose and is shorting out. the compressor and clutch must be replaced
Best if you own a compressor, air tools keeps the clutch from turning. If no compressor, mount it in a vise to keep it from turning and remove each bolt, can be tricky as they are mounted together but turn seperately when activated.
It is a low pressure AC clutch cut out switch. It keeps the compressor from running if the system is low or empty of freon.
it keeps the refridgerator cool
The compressor needs to be changed. There is no more pressure in it. It keeps working but only hot air is comes out.
I have the clutches in my kx 85 but the clutch rode that goes to the clutch cable keeps Hitting the clutch Case How do I fix it
The serentine belt keeps your cooling fan turning and also helps the alternator which keeps your battery charged. The belt runs everything, power steering pump, water pump alternator as mentioned above as well as the air conditioning compressor and smog pump.
