Check the color of the gums. They should be pink and when pressed, should respond back to pink very fast. I would recommend you take your dog in to be checked out by your Veterinarian immediately as the color sounds off and that can be an indicator of many things, all bad.
not all golden retrievers are golden. some are white but they are mainly gold, hence the name. golden retrievers were first used for duck hunters they used to retrieve the ducks. I have two golden retrievers, and I suggest getting a darker colored one. I mean like more of a reddish tint not a lite one. The lite ones are not as smart as the red ones. At least that is what I think and have experienced.
It depends on where you are! In Britain & Ireland, where the dog is originally from, it ranges from a light cream or champagne colour to to rich and lustrous gold. This is why it was named the Golden Retriever! However, when the dog was introduced to the US, show judges there changed their preference in colour to a darker shade, sometimes reaching a red/auburn as dark as the Irish/Red Setter. This often leads to confusion over the origin of the name in the US, as some people wonder why a red coloured dog is called golden.
Golden Retrievers were bred from a number of dogs including Irish Setters, Tweed Water Spaniels (extinct), Bloodhounds, Springer Spaniels, Newfoundlands, St. John's Water Dogs, Labrador Retrievers, and other various retrievers and spaniels in Britain in the 19th century.
dogsya dogs are i have one and they are so nice and cooperative i mean golden retrievers.
there tongue is dirty and you shold clean there mouth
I think that just like any type of dog, it depends on how the owner trains the dog. Are they capable of being mean if they are trained to be so? Yes. But naturally, Golden Retrievers are one of the most patient, loving dogs around. I've had one for the last seven years and other than the occasional nipping when he plays rough, he has never had a mean bone in his body. So unless the dog is trained to be mean, Golden Retrievers are in my opinion, the best dog to have because all they want is loving attention and a yard to run around in.
it depends what u mean if u mean the fur it can smell depending what they have been playing in or what envirment they are in and how much u wash them.if u mean farts they really smell lol trust me i have a golden retriever
if what your calling "black spots" are actually more of a purple color it could mean that they have some chow chow in them i know chows have purple on their tongue and i have heard something of an old wifes tale that a dog with a purple tongue is a very smart dog Golden retrievers are known to have black spots. This does not mean that your dog is mixed by any means. Google black spots and goldies. you will see that there have been AKC champions that have had black spots.
If your goat has a white tongue and diarrhea, it could be dehydrated. It could also have a serious illness or disease.
Hands down...golden retriever. Best companion and family dog.
a very unheathly tongue. You need to brush your tongue just as much as your teeth.
It means you need to go to the doctor.
