You either are getting into arguements or he's just mean spirited and he knows that no woman likes to be called "fat" so he's hitting you below the belt. Start practicing being witty and have a good come-back for him. Don't take this behavior from him. He's an adult and so are you, so both of you should sit down and figure out what is wrong in your marriage. It might be just something minimal, or perhaps he is having a rough time at work. Still, he shouldn't be taking it out on you. Fat or thin, our mates should treat us with respect just as we would them. The next time he says this tell him to go and take a good look in mirror because he's no winner either! If he's bald, then say, "Geez, wait a second, I gotta go get my sunglasses because every time you bend over the sun hit's your bald spot and I can't see your beety little eyes!" Men get very upset when you mention thining hair or if they have no hair at all. I really don't care either way, but when he's hitting you below the belt give him a taste of his own medicine. He's hurting your feelings on purpose!

It depends on how big you are, let's say your in the more heafty side you tend to lose more weight faster but as you get small it tends to go down.
