You might have head lice ask your mom or dad to check your head if you have bugs on your head you have lice go to the super market or the nearest drug store and ask for head louse shampoo. Also check on Google or any othersite for head lice or head louse pictures

trust me, I thought I had lice but I don't. I was putting on too much
shampoo on my head and that a little bit of it was still there. Then it dried on my head and now it itches. But you should ask a doctor. They might help you! Remember lice are really tiny so you cant really tell!
Also, you may just have dry skin. Drink lots of water and try a medicated shampoo like Selsum Blue Medicated Shampoo. Leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse and wash with regular shampoo and conditioner. Rinse out products thoroughly. Also, could be a sign of something more serious as a thyroid condition, which does cause dry skin. I have a thyroid condition and my scalp and skin is very dry. If you try the above and it doesn't work, then please seek out advice from your physician.

- Just a normal itch
-Dandruff
-Dry Scalp
-Irritation
-Head Lice
or many other things.
(If u have white flakes when u scratch your head try a dandruff shampoo. If it does not stop itching, check for lice or see a Doc.)

∙ 12y agoIf your head itches, and you don't have dandruff you could have lice. There are special shampoos that deal with lice. Before using these shampoos contact your doctor first.
If you do not have lice you could have a dry damaged scalp. There are also medicated lotions and gels that heal your skin.
If that is not the culprit, then you could have an itchy scalp because of dried up residue left behind from hair gels or shampoos and conditioners. This can cause itching as well.
I hope whoever needs this information has found a way to stop the itch.
