Go to a radiology department at a nearby hospital or other healthcare industry facility that offers radiology services. Ask the people that work there (in the radiology department) how they became radiologists. Take notes. Go to radiology school. Listen and learn and don't dope off. Get an internship in a radiology department somewhere during the times radiology school (however long it may be) is not in session. Graduate radiology school. Possibly the places where you did internship may hire you. The school may have a placement program. Word hard and smart. Learn from everyone. Well, first of all you need to spend a day or week shadowing a radiologist to see if you like the field. Then whether you really enjoy sciences such as physics,Biology and chemistry. You'll also need to take higher level math courses in high school. If all these things prove to be enjoyable, then you should look into colleges that provide all the premed courses that you'll need. These courses are a prerequisite to applying to medical school. You will have to train yourself to have good study habits because grades will determine where or if you will be accepted into medical school. After four years of medical school you can apply to a radiology residency. Again grades will determine whether you get a residency position at all, and/or at the institution you desire. Once excepted you'll be trained for three years to become a radiologist. Overall you will need four years of college, four years of medical school and three to five years of residency bfore you can become a radiologist.
