go to the probation dept. and fill out a form to expunge your record and then a judge will get this form thus making a descession on having your record expunge. Meaning court oring your record to be sealed with all police stations and f.b.i. thus a court order is needed for anyone to see your records after your records have been ordered by the judge expunge..

You can look into your states requirement for EXPUNGEMENT. However, there is no such thing as a 'blanket expunction.' You will not be able to get your entire criminal history cleared, usually only one expungment for one crime is issued to any single person during a lifetime.

How do you clean a felony from your record?

Many criminal convictions can be cleared from an individual's criminal record. This means, under certain circumstances, an individual may ask the court to erase a conviction from your permanent record, in which case, subsequent courts and law enforcement officials may not have access to certain elements of your criminal past. Not everything can be cleared and there are different steps that you must take in order to have the chance to get your conviction cleared. As a general rule, you must have finished your probation term and not have gotten in anymore trouble with the law before being considered for this.

How long does it take to clear a criminal record in Arizona?

The time can vary. If you are speaking of having your criminal record expunged of an offense - once the judge approves it (if he does) - court orders directing the expungement will go out to the various record-keeping agencies for them to act on it. Obviously it will not happen instantaneously, but within a few weeks to a month should probably be sufficient. Ask your attrorney, or even ask the judge, they should have a good handle on the timeframe.

How long does a marijuana possession charge stay on your record in Utah?

Your adult criminal history record is permanent and always with you, it doesn't 'go away' after the lapse of time. A misdemeanor conviction will stay on your record indefinitely unless you take special action. Utah allows for criminal record expunging under the Utah Expungement Act. Expunging of a criminal record allows for it to be sealed from public view. However, government agencies, including the police, can still access the criminal record. This process is used by many individuals, especially since these records can otherwise appear on background checks. Please keep in mind that this is not an easy process, even though it is technically a civil procedure rather than a criminal one. Eligibility is also not automatic. Individuals convicted of certain violent crimes, sex crimes, felony crimes, and others may not be able to apply. Additionally, there is a waiting period to pursue an expunging in Utah, which varies depending on the class of offense sought to be sealed. This can be anywhere between 3 years for a class C misdemeanor or 7 years for a felony.
