engine swaps are really quite simple. all you need is the new engine, proper motor mounts, probably a different transmission (the 350 in passenger cars usually is an automatic transmission, i had problems with my 87 camaro sport on this) and if you get really unlucky, you may need to get a different driveline (im not sure if the one in the newer camaro is the proper length, someone else might know). just make sure to get all your electronics connected properly, and you may have a problem with the speedometer unless you get a transmission with an electrical speedometer connection.
sure if you change the motor mounts.

YES, If you know what you are doing.
Yes it will. GM. put alot of V8 engines in that year camaro.
yes
www.thirdgen.org is the place for all of your answers, it is a website dedicated to the third generation body style camaros like yours. Yes, a 350 can be put in a 85 camaro very easily
5 quarts with the filter change.
yes the 305 can go into a v6 camaro, I recomend a 350. The transmission should be the same. Wiring the motor in wont be easy, I would recomend getting a book on how to wire in the original motor cause a carburated is alot more simple to wire. The engine bay is big enough i got a 455 big block to fit in 89 camaro. I scraped it though, the headers did not fit. I was not going to cut out the cross member and build it new, was not worth the effort.
alot ur goin from a v6 to v8 so u will need a new computer, is the 350 fuelinjected or carburated, u will need a new trany and mostlikely mounts, headers and more
don't do it. I have a 91 camaro i had a 3.1 and installed a 85 350. the motor was 1000.00 and to get it running cost me 2000.00 more. I would go with a 350 from the same year as your car. every thing had to be modified for my motor to fit. My project was a headache but its done now. check it out at cardomain.com under camarojoe1991. if you still deside to do it have fun!!!!!
yes
you have to remove and install the motor through the bottom of the car by dropping the old one out, and lifting the new one in
