Squirrels, raccoons, opossum, basically any nocturnal animals. Something that happens often where I live is rats. This problem(And the others, except with birds) can be solved simply by making sure no trees have limbs that an animal could use as a bridge to your roof.
it depends on where your at, are you camping in the woods or just at home? it could be about anything: birds, squirrels, bats, racoons, crickets(but they probably stick to the tall grass), cats(demestic, mountain lion, cougar) those are just some. about any small animal you could think of and also bigger animals that are able to climb.
The chirping noise on your roof at night could be from birds or small animals like squirrels or raccoons. It's possible they are nesting or looking for food. Consider installing motion-activated lights or sprinklers to deter them from the area.
it is the sound of the air rushing past that makes the noise it is worse if they are flat
Aircraft make noise any time they fly. They make less noise at night because airports have published "noise abatement" procedures pilots follow to keep the people who live around airports happy.
Believe it or not we cant hear that clicking noise on the roof, a description will help you get an answer...
If a tree falls in the forest, does it make sound? Of course planes make noise at night. But if you are fast asleep, or otherwise not attending to the sound, then they seem not to be there.

Yes donkeys always make noises but not for the whole night they will fall asleep avanchaly
it makes that clicking noise because you touch yourself at night
Yes, some make lots of noise at night, if you go to bed with the lights on in the area where your budgies are they will scream & chirp all night. If you turn the lights off then the budgie will be calm & quiet at night, SO KEEP YOUR LIGHTS OFF AT NIGHT!!
