Dr. King basically compares all the problems and things separating people of all colors, races, religions, etc. to physical barriers that separate people. He says that one day, all of these problems between people will be smoothed out (as in a mountain being flattened), and all of the earth's people will get to enjoy the peace and tranquility left by the absence of racism and prejudice.
