Mario ends up saving sonic and escapes down a pipe. mecha sonic follows them. after Mario and sonic find they are stuck forever, mecha sonic fights them and takes away the emerald. he surprisingly finds out that chaos control doesnt work where he is. every one ends up escaping before mecha sonic ddestroys them.
