It refers to undesirable changes in the vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs in your spine. When their quality and alignment deteriorates, your spine's stability and flexibility decrease. These can be caused by injury and aging and can be faster or slower to show up depending on level of physical activity, genetics, nutrition, etc. Usually they are associated with disc compression which may lead to pinching of nerves in your spine.
There is some degeneration of the vertebrae and disks. Spondylosis is osteoarthritis of the spine. Normally age related although other conditions can produce the changes also.

It means that even though there is compression of the material between the discs there is no interference or pressure being put on the nerves that pass between them to the body.

The 1970 Chevelle SS had 4 engine options, ALL big blocks. The L34 was a 350 HP 396, the L78 was a 375 HP 396, the LS5 was a 360 HP 454 and the LS6 was a 450 HP 454. Note, these are the factory horsepower ratings. Also note in 1970 the 396 was bored out to 402 CID, but was still called a 396 for marketing reasons. The L34 was the base model engine, the other three engines were all optional for super sport models.

I am wondering the same thing. I am thinkin it is like a charger or maybe a camaro but i dont know. He drives a 1969 Camero SS.
Depends on which 396 it is. The hydraulic cammed 396's (L34 and L35) got a quadrajet. The L78 (solid lifter cam) came with a Holley 780. The heads will also tell you which one, Oval port engines got the quadrajet and square port engines got the Holley.
If I recall correctly, 3.8 Ltr (maybe not that small in the RS) 5.0 an 5.7 NON TPI only throttle body injection on all, Tunned Port would be on the LB9 5.0 LTR or the L98 5.7 LTR, I think the 5.0 Throttle body was something the L34 ... of some such,
I have one, it's also a #'s matching SS396 L34 350 hp 4spd. Yenko was the big dog ordering them that way back then. As it is... It was a special order color from the factory in that year. Not many. Very, very rare. with a true paint code 65/65. my guess was maybe 100 or so. How many are left? Maybe 5? Mine will never be for sale. It has 27,000 actual miles. My kids all want it...
