I am weaning myself off of Wellbutrin. I am in my second week of taking one pill every other day. I have been sick for about three days now. Nausea, diarrhea, shakiness. Hope this ends soon.

If you mean that they are taking advantage of something like wealth or a nice car. Stop buying things for them. If they are using you for sex stop sleeping with them. Its pretty simple if you feel like you are being used stop doing it for them. They will get the hint.

Can you take Wellbutrin 150 mg every second day?

If you feel that the 150mg is too strong for you, yes you can. And since there is a sustained (extended) release version, that should be fine. I wouldn't break the tablet in half though. Once you break the tablet, the SR (or ER) is released. Don't stop taking Wellbutrin or any other anti-depressant cold turkey. Taper off and decrease your dosage. Wellbutrin can also be used to stop smoking. The actual brand name of it is Zyban, but their generics are the exact same.

Can it be dangerous to suddenly completely stop taking Wellbutrin?

Wellbutrin, like many anti-depressants of its type, has a cumulative effect, which is why your doctor probably told you it would take up to 6-8 weeks before you would begin to feel the effects. The body essentially builds up a store of it. If you abruptly quit taking it, your body will gradually secrete it until there is no more left in your system. So, no, sudden cessation should cause no harm at all. Personal note: I have taken this (prescribed) drug. When I told my doctor I no longer wished to, he said something to the effect of "okay," and I just stopped taking it. No ill effects.

Is Wellbutrin addictive?

They say not at all, but really it's as much as any other antidepressants, which is, if you think it's working, you're going to be afraid to stop taking it. Plus there is mild withdrawal associated with antidepressants that will make you feel worse, reinforcing that fear and making you want to take it again.
