∙ 11y agoIt actually doesnt mean a lot to the book. It is just that the author wanted to keept it that name. But in real life, it mostly means someone who is from Another Country or city and has some trouble adapting to the environment in the new city or country.
"Outsiders" refers to people who are not part of a particular group or community, typically being seen as not belonging or being unfamiliar with the group's norms and customs.
