I was actually trying to find the answer to this question, too! But I know the term "peak" and "off peak" from New York commuter trains. peak describing the rush hour-ish time period when a lot of people commute using those trains. As I saw the term "Adult non peak" on a movie theater page, looking up a matinée show, I assume it means the early day shows when most people are at work, school, college or whatever, so it's cheaper because it's not that crowded. I can't guarantee anything but to me, this makes sense and if I'm right, I hope to help others with this answer.
