Since it cannot be determined what Android device you have specifically, most devices can be hard reset by pressing the volume up/down buttons and the power button at the same time. Doing this should reboot your device.
By just pressing power button for 2 or 3 sec then it gives option and reboot it.
Holding the power button, volume up, and volume down keys all at once will shutdown your phone, but taking out the battery works too.
To reboot your android hold down the power button until it asks you if you want to shut down your device, tap yes and your device will shut down, hold down the power button again and it should turn on. Note that some device may not have the yes or no option and will shut down just by holding down the power button. Also remember to HOLD DOWN the power button instead of just pressing it.
Press the volume up or down button and the power button at the same time, and hold it for a few seconds until the tablet turns off. Then, you can power it back on as normal.
Press the power and volume down button at the same time to take a screen shot.
You can always reset to unlock it. The power key and volume up or down in some cases. Pressing this together resets your device.
As with most recent Android smartphones, you should be able to take a screenshot by pressing both the power button and volume down button at the same time. Keep it pressed until your display indicates a screenshot was taken, typically a flash, then the screenshot icon displaying at the top of your notification tray.
By pressing the power button on the back
If the tablet is locked, and there's no way to navigate in to factory reset it under Settings, the only other option is to do a hard reset. Keep in mind that by doing this, all data will be lost. The most typical way of doing this is to power down the tablet, then after it's powered down, to press and hold the volume up/down and power buttons at the same time (a variation is pressing down the volume down and power button at the same time). A boot screen with different options will appear. Press either the volume up or down button to navigate until you get to "Factory Reset". Press the power button to reset it.
You flip the on-off switch. It may be a button, or a knob.
You can try to factory reset by first going into the fastboot screen. To do this, power down the tablet completely (long-pressing the power button should do this). Then, long-press both the power button and volume down buttons at the same time. It should take you then to the fastboot screen, which is a lying down Android icon with an open chest, up and down buttons on the side, and text. Using the volume buttons, scroll until you get to Recovery. Press the power button, and it should give you as one of the options wipe data/factory reset. Select Yes, then press the power button. If this does not work, consult your tablet's manufacturer or carrier.
