If you have a wide rim Anthony, the date will be almost touching the rim with only a very small space between them. Compare the 1979 wide rim to any other Anthony dollar and you will readily see the difference. If you see no difference then your is probably not a wide rim.

The numbers can say several things. What you mainly care about is rim and diameter size. EX. 16x8 rim the rim has diameter of 16 and the rim width is 8 inches. If it has other numbers then it has to do with back spacing and it is usually in millimeters. Does this help any?
The rim is what holds the tire to the car it has the lug nut hole, if you mean chrome ring, it woulkd work the same.
It means the rim will fit 15" tires with widths between 185 and 225. 15 inch diameter, 7 inches wide

I think you mean a basketball hoop. But for a hoop, they use a steel or iron rim with rope netting connected to the rim. The backboard is glass or plastic.
Not sure if you mean the ball or rim height, but it is regulation full size on both, NBA ball, 10' rim height.
